The Di-u-wak
Tourist Complex, which in Bri-bri language means Sun People,
is located right in the heart of Dominical, in the middle
of a natural garden and surrounded by an exuberant nature.
50 m. from the beach, in front of the ICE sub-station you
will find our complex, surrounded by green areas, gardens,
fruit trees and coconuts.

and How to get There
To get
to DIUWAK you can make it from the Juan Santamaría
International Airport or San José:
1-
South Interamerican Road up to San Isidro del General, and
from this city to Dominical Beach, you will drive on a paved
road all the way to the beach. During this stretch you can
enjoy beautiful panoramic vistas when going through the Bella
Vista Mountain "Death Mountain", and from it you
can contemplate Costa Rica's highest mountain, the Chirripó
Mountain. If its clear, from some places you can see both
coasts, Pacific and Atlantic. When passing through the mountain
you will enjoy a great amount of plants and flowers belonging
to the high region, as also a large variety of highland birds,
including the magnificent Quetzal.
During the stretch from San Isidro to Dominical you will enjoy
beautiful views and you will admire a variety of plants and
animals belonging to the South Pacific coast area. It will
take you three and a half hours to get to Diuwak.
2- South Coast Road, passing through Atenas, Orotina,
Jacó, Parrita, Quepos to Dominical. Road in excellent
conditions until Quepos, in good condition from Quepos to
Dominical. Strech where you constantly have in sight beautiful
coast views, where you can also enjoy unforgettable sunsets
and you'll never forget the mountain's splendour. It will
take you four hours to get to Diuwak.
3- From the south of the country border with Panamá
at Palmar Norte you detour to Ciudad Cortes taking the Costanera
(Coast Road) to Dominical. Road in very good condition, during
this trayectory you can enjoy beautiful panoramic view of
the coast and mountain, besides observing many animals original
to the zone. It will take you aone hour to get to Diuwak. |
